Power Flush
What is a Power Flush
Power flushing and chemical cleaning will restore your systems circulation and reduce boiler noise problems (caused by sludge and corrosion deposits) to it’s optimum performance. Power flushing removes these sludgy deposits and the problems that they cause in one operation.
Power flushing, in conjunction with a system pre-cleanse is great for pre-commissioning and cleaning newly installed heating systems, to remove excess installation debris, and the greasy deposits that are applied to all new componenets of heating systems by the manufacturer.
When to consider a power flush
New Boiler installations – All boiler manufacturers insist on an existing system being power flushed before their boiler is fitted. If you leave the power flush out, you run the risk of the manufacturer’s warranty becoming invalid.
Existing systems – Many systems that we see still contain corrosion and sludge, even if no flow problems have yet shown themselves, so regular power flushing is a sensible maintenance measure.
Is it messy?
We use Kamco power flushing pumps and chemicals which are widely considered to be the best. All of our domestic engineers have the experience to carry out power flushingand other maintenance work in your property and cause as little mess and inconvenience to you as possible.
We also carry a range of different pumps to suit different types of work and select the one most suited to your property along with the best method to clean your system.

Energy Saving
The Energy Saving Trust estimates that a central heating boiler is responsible for 60% of your household energy bills, so having a more efficient boiler can make a sizeable difference to your bills.
Most new condensing boilers are A rated which means their efficiency is 90% or more. The efficiency of your boiler will depend on a number of factors but typically an old non-condensing boiler would be G rated which means it is less than 70% efficient and could well be only 55% – 70% efficient.
Depending on your gas bill, moving to a more efficient condensing boiler could save £200-£300 per year.

As always, Kyle at Oakleigh Heating provides an excellent service. On this occasion he discovered the fault with our heating system, obtained the replacement part, fitted the part and checked to ensure that all was working correctly. The service provided by Kyle is always first class and we recommend Oakleigh Heating as a fully reliable, friendly and helpful supplier.
Kyle did a great job, replacing boiler, fitting two new radiators, putting a new gas supply and leaving us with a tidy, warm house. All done in a day. He then came back to check that all was going fine.
Extremely happy with the excellent work carried out by Kyle and the Oakleigh heating team. We had our boiler replaced and radiator fitted, and the work carried out was to the highest standard. The new boiler looks amazing and is working perfectly. It wasn't a straight forward job, but Kyle completed the work without an issue and I am really happy with the result would not hesitate to recommend.
Great communication, punctual and well priced. A nice clean job with radiators looking great. Follow up phone call a week later to check all was working okay was a pleasant surprise. Would happily use again.
Kyle has completed various pieces of work for me, from installing a brand new central heating boiler to tightening a leaking radiator valve. I have always found the charges to be reasonable, and Kyle has on occasion replaced a faulty part without passing on the cost to me or charging for his time. Kyle responds promptly when I contact him, and manages to fit in his visits around my busy work schedule. I would recommend Kyle and Oakleigh Heating to anyone wanting a reliable trader who puts their customers first.
